To Purpose.

I grew up as a teenager with no direction and a lot of rage. No roadmap. No example to follow. The streets had answers but none of them led anywhere good. By seventeen, I had burned through more second chances than I had any right to receive.

Then a Marine Corps recruiter did something almost no adult had ever done — he looked at me like I was worth something. He didn't sugarcoat it. He said the Corps would break me down and rebuild me, and whether what came out the other side was better or worse depended entirely on what I decided to bring to it.

I signed the papers three weeks before my eighteenth birthday. What followed was nearly a decade of infantry service, five combat deployments, and the most complete education in leadership, discipline, and human performance that exists anywhere on Earth.

When I came home for the last time, I faced the hardest transition of my life — not combat. Civilian life. No mission. No structure. No purpose. The identity I had built over a decade was gone overnight.

A neighbor's deck. That's where it started. I fixed it the way Marines fix things — completely, correctly, with attention to every detail. She told two neighbors. They told two more. Within months I had built a legitimate home service business from nothing, using the same discipline, communication skills, and operational thinking the military had spent years building into me.

Today I run that business and The Handyman Coach — a coaching program that helps veterans, tradespeople, and career-changers build profitable home service businesses in 30 to 60 days. Because the map I had to draw myself is worth nothing sitting in a drawer.
